How much time do you spend piecing a quilt?

some quilts have gone together quickly--a long weekend, or a week...others have been years in the works...just depends. at all times i have at least half a dozen in various stages of completion. sometimes something exciting happens and i will have 3 or 4 suddenly coming together at once...like a 4=course meal ... all done at once

Sometimes when I get frustrated or in too big of a hurry, I just lay it aside and work on something else until I get calmed down. What you have done so far is beautiful and would love to see you finish it and show us all on here. I think/know you can do it. Set an allotted time each day or even a week to work on it if it gets too frustrating.

I really like it so far. After I do a quilt with a lot of pieces or a difficult pattern, I like to take time off on some easy ones so I can enjoy the process again. Stick with it, it's going to be well worth it.

Well, look at all the pieces of fabric you have sewn down...whew!!! That's a LOT!!! No wonder it is taking time. If you counted cutting out exact pieces and sewing that many blocks, I'm sure it would come close to the same time-wise.
