I spend to much time here, not enough time to quilt.

I spend a lot of time with my sewing machines, but I am not always quilting. I am the family mender and end up with all sorts of projects.

I am retired and if I am at home, I am most probably sitting at the sewing machine. It is truly my recreation.

I spend the time that I have left when I am done doing what I have to do! Generally 2 hours or so per day sometimes more! Having said that, Mondays and Fridays I try to quilt for most of the day, while I am doing my laundry!

Who or what makes you feel guilty when you are doing something creative, productive and therapeutic?

I still work full time, so I have only late evenings and weekends - no where near enough time. I have children and grandkids in Winchester that we visit too.

I also work full time and do not have enough time to spend in my quilting room! I thought I was retired from teaching about 6 years ago but both my husband and I (he was also a teacher) returned to full time work as teacher's aides in special education. We just couldn't stay away from being with the kids. But, now that I've begun quilting I find I have little time to quilt. I go in spurts and spend as much time as possible in evenings and on weekends when we are not busy. We also have been raising our granddaughter for the past 6 years and,as many of you know, parenting takes time. Just need to say we love our granddaughter(age 12 now) and I love whatever time I have quilting!

I sew every day.

Either hand stitch, machine or am working with my long arm Gammill Statler.
