No, I would not pay that! There are too many good places to buy for a more reasonable price.

That sounds way too high to me too. I usually see them for between $1.50-3.00 each. But I usually buy yardage, not FQ.

On a guild shop hop yesterday, we visited 3 stores. Prices for fat quarters ranged from $2.75 to $3.25, with one store offering 20% fat quarters if 5 or more were purchased.

Maybe these were duponi?

Maybe she was looking at a stack of FQ, for that price.

Even here in UK I've never seen fat quarters more than £4 . Our fabric prices are going up but not that high yet.

I am always amazed at just how cheap quilting fabric/supplies are in the US.

Here in Australia if you can buy a f/q for less than $5 you have found a bargain.

Have never seen them more than 3.99. LQS will cut a fat quarter for you so will only buy one if I need a certain one and there isn't any more of that fabric on a bolt. Otherwise I buy a 1/4 yd.

Default Fixed Question (It was Charm Packs)

I'm sorry it wasn't Fat Quarters it was a charm pack and it was for $7.50 on sale $10.00 normal price! I wanted to know if that was the going price for them but I'm glad I asked the other question too.

This past week Joann's down here had fat quarters for 75 cents each, they are usually 2.49, I didn't buy as many as I thought I would as most seemed very thin and not in the colors/patterns I was looking for, but I still got about a dozen or so. I can't imagine paying 8 bucks for one fat quarter, holy moly.

ETA: I just saw your post above with it being charm packs (I must type awfully slow lol) - 8.00 seems pretty reasonable for one of those.
