Too funny! I understand, though. I walked around for 6 months with a VISA gift card and couldn't decide what to spend it on. Oh, decisions, decisions.....

Connecting Threads is hard. I just ordered and had a very hard time, I really wanted everything I saw. They have such a nice selection and colors are great. Don't know what to tell you except to have fun.

Your DH is feeling pretty cocky and proud of himself. I would purchase clearance fabric and not use the GC. I would hold on to it for that something I've always wanted, but could not justify. Afterall, it was a gift to you.

I also got a Connecting Threads gift certificate for Christmas and I am waiting for their thread to go on sale. I seem to remember a big thread sale last year and I got some thread then. I like it so much that I want more, but I want to wait for it to go on sale and to get the most "bang for my buck!"

Both me and my mom do that same thing. We both have several gift cards from Christmas for fabric and have yet to touch them! Makes us really think!

You are too funny....but I know how you feel. Like a little kid looking into the really BIG candy counter case.

A gift is to be spent on something special. Get something you always wanted for your quilting.. You go girl.

I'm the same way, I got a gift certificate for a LQS and still have not been there to spend it. Waiting for something special and/or a sale. I get her newsletters so I will know when the time is right. I have done the same thing with Joann gift certificates, don't want to waste a wonderful gift on just anything, it has to be special or something I really want.
