28 years old and counting..... its a double wedding ring wallhanging with scalloped borders. I hate it. BUT I intend on finishing it one day.

Well, lets see, I started a quilt top when I was 14, I am now 68, so that makes it 54 years(older than some of you). I am now working on it again. The 3 finished blocks were done by hand, only 9 more to go.

Inherited, about 30 years old. Gram did the pattern wrong, and I keep telling myself I will rip it out some day and make it right.

I am de-cluttering and found way back in a closet a quilt, or a bunch of quilt blocks that I'd made with my 6 (or was it 7) year old son's drawings and ideas. Lovely fabric, good embroidering, had his tennis racquet, his Doberman, a Monarch butterfly he and his dad had collected. Lots of different blocks. I will still finish it one of these days.

Maybe for his birthday next May..he'll be 43 years old then.

Right now I am quilting a Baby Jane quilt that I began in 1997. With the encouragement of some wonderful gals here on the Board, I got the top finished and am looking forward to stitching the binding on in the foreseeable future!

I have a rule I have followed for years and never stray from it. No matter if I am quilting, sewing, knitting, or painting. I never start a new project til the one I am working on is DONE!!! And it has worked. I have nothing half done or sitting waiting til I want to get back to it. Try it. It is nice to never have anything left undone.

My oldest UFO is my first quilt. It is backed and partially basted but never quilted. It was too big to handle and the colors were so outdated by the time I was confident enough to quilt it that I never got back to it. It is nearly 8 years old.
