I had a friend that took out a small table in the 5th wheel-table by the chair. She installed a sewing machine in its own table. Maybe from the 60's. Not a large table. Later they took out the dining table and installed her Arrow sewing table.
I use my machine which stores in the clothes closet to sew on the dining table & on the picnic table outside. I go camping once a month and then on trips. I take items already cut, but If I need to I can use my mat & cutter at the kitchen counter. I have my machine in a rolling tote and have an ott light bag with light and sewing. I always have hand stitching (cathedral window) and loom knitting to make hats & prayer shawls. I hit the stores in the area and shop for sewing items I might not find at home. The truck that pulls the 5th wheel may have storage behind the seat, also.

Thank you everyone. I have not done much sewing lately so I keep thinking how am I going to sew in the trailer if I can't even find time to sew now? Well I guess it wil work out , but if I don't even take the sewing stuff with me I won't be able tomsew anyway. So I will keep Organizing my things and take it with me.

My thoughts exactly !!!! And then there was one, film at eleven. Greetings from Auntie B in Saskatchewan, where we have so much flat prairie and open space, you can see your dog run away for 3 days. I love my space, and have lots of it !!! lol

I'm about to make a long weekend trip in a 15 passenger van, headed into an area where the weather predictions don't sound favorable for outdoor activities. I've packed essentials of quilting. Featherweight, Ottlight, fabrics, cutters and rules, thread, cut & press board and mini iron, heavy duty extension cords, and a TV table. If I can't wing it, I have the netbook to download a pattern or two. This is not a camper or conversion van. It's a regular van, we've removed the back seats and put in a queen size bed. Not a whole lot of wiggle room, but I'll find a way. I'll let you know how I managed, unless they lock me up in the funny farm for trying.

When we sold our last home, we had to move out of our home 2 days before Christmas. We had not looked for a new house as we were going to pay cash for the new one when ours sold. We moved into our 35ft 8ft wide moterhome. I was still working so it was just my husband, me, and the three dogs. I left for work every day and my husband looked for a home. After 6 weeks, my husband was ready for the looney farm. So I said lets take our vacation early. We spent 18 days in Italy. When we got back, he found our current home within 10 days and we moved out of the motorhome right about 3 months after moving in. It wasn't wonderful, but it worked. I sewed in the clubhouse of the park and kept most of my quilting stuff in the back of my car. You'll make it.
