Darling quilt! I think how you quilt it depends on the batting you are planning to use. I use Thermore, which needs minimal quilting, which is what I would give it. I would stitch in the ditch around the sashing and 4 patches and just out from the elephants. I think I would do the same for a poofy batting. Whatever you do, it is sure to be a treasured quilt.

That is so cute!

The leaf design quilting on this four-patch was really easy. I didn't have to mark it or cut threads. Start with one point that joins another four-patch... Do half a leaf shape... Do a complete leaf shape on the sides with a figure eight... Continue up with another half leaf shape... When you have gone all the way around, add the other half of a leaf shape that is missing in the middle squares until you have completed all of the middles.

I hope that is clearer than mud!

Oh my gosh, this is the cutest baby quilt ever! I think I would quilt around the elephants and the outside squares, but I don't know what else to suggest. What I do know is that it will be fabulous no matter what you do. Congrats on a job very well done.

What a cute quilt! Totally adorable and different from traditional cars/trucks for a little boy.

Such a cute quilt, I would outline the elephants then stipple the rest.

Love those elephants. You did a wonderful job. They are adorable, your colors are great, your applique is perfect. Would not begin to give quilting suggestions. I am still at the cross-hatch stage.
