I adore miniatures but have never tried them. I have done a few tiny PP blocks of cats but I don't have pictures of them. Need to dig them out. I think they finished at around 3".

Peggi your feathered Star is fabulous. Thank you for posting. Suesew that present block is out of this world. The result was so worth all your efforts.

The pics here are wonderful... I'm amazed at that tiny work! The quilt museum in KY has some minis, too, that will take your breath away. I don't dare go that small!!

Those are great!! I would not go anywhere near that small. It would be all seam allowance and bumpy if I attempted it.

Like a couple others, I will use 3/4 to finish at 1/4 inch. PP allows for very accurate piecing, but I'm dyslexic enough that I get so confused. Lovely little quilts shared. And my avatar is a Log Cabin made with 3/4" strips.

the smallest was triangles at about 1.5 inches and it killed me since I'm still trying to get seams to match and have enough patience to follow directions. Maybe one day, maybe.

I love all the tiny quilts but I would lose what little mind I have if I tried one.

Like Dog House Mum I've sewn rows that were cut 3/4" and ended 1/4 in a bargello. Doubt I could work that small as I have trouble enough with 2.5" these days. Had cataracts removed a couple of years back and just need glasses to read and see up close, but if I don't hold the work at the right distance it's blurry. I hope to get some new one this years. I'm forever putting them down and losing them even though I have 3 pair.

But I think my favorite is this Feathered Star, which finished at 5".
