I use mine often and one use I have found is to wrap the cord and foot pedal to my machines!!!

I have had mine for probably 15 years or more- if it gets dusty on the thread spools you can rinse it, and its good agan. just don't cut it too short!

I got some of that several years ago and was surprised to see that it appeared a whole lot like that really thin vinyl... like the stuff used for protecting fancy embroidered table cloths on dining room tables. When I couldn't find my roll of Hugo's I went to Walmart and got a quarter yard of the thinnest clear vinyl stuff they had. Cutting it in strips isn't as convenient as just using it off the spool but it works for me, and cost less than a buck.

If it is cut thin enough, it also works well to keep bobbin threads from getting tangled.

I use mine to keep my pantographs from unrolling. Quick, easy and reusable. I used to use rubber bands but over time they got brittle and broke and the rubber stuck to the roll.

I also use it on pantographs. Am now switching how I store them, and if it works, I won't need the tape. It's a good thing because I just ran out of tape and the lqs where I got it, is no longer in business.

I use it for spools and bobbins, but also wrap it around my plastic containers of pins, Pinmoors, Wonder clips and etc. so that if the container gets dropped, it doesn't spill open. I have also used it to wrap around my placemats and table runners for storage; just rolling them up around a cardboard paper towel roll and Hugo hugs them together. Have also used it to wrap around extension cords to hold them together. So many uses.

I used it for years now mostly for wrapping around thread spools that don't have a place to hold the end of the thread. I also use it for wrapping around stabilizers to keep them from unwinding. I read somewhere that a lady thought that it had lost its "cling." It can be rejuvenated much like you get a balloon to stick to stuff...by rubbing it against something. I just rub it across the top of my thigh with a pair of blue jeans one. But, I've only had to do that once in all these years.
