The only thing on that short list I have an issue with is keeping sharp blades in my rotary. I just recently bought a 28mm cutter that already needs a new blade, I keep forgetting to put new ones in my shopping cart when I'm on the site. My 45mm is a different story, I've got six new blades and a pinking blade for that one, just can't seem to remember the smaller one, LOL

I have had my Featherweight for about 6 months and ran across a video on how to oil it.
It hadn't occurred to me. Why yes, I am an idiot.
I oiled the poor thing and I'm sure it hadn't been done in years. I'm surprised it ran as well as it did. Now, I just need to clean and lubricate the gears and motor.
My regular machines get new needles and cleaned/oiled regularly, especially my mid-arm...oiled every bobbin change. Rotary blades usually keep going until they start to skip.
