Thank you. Not only was that a great idea but I actually understood what you ment. Sometimes I dont always get the concept because I havent been at this long enough. Next big quilt I do I will try it your way.

I think its a nice quilt. I too have the quilt over my shoulder on the floor and everywhere. It doesn't help that I am short to begin with with short arms and short legs and "Lord, if there is another life after this one, please please give me long legs and long arms. Thank you in advanced." And I always need a "boob" guard. You know for those times your quilt is thrown over your shoulder while it has pins in it and you lean forward or adjust the quilt and your "boob" gets poked. So If I remember which really isnt very often, I have a little 4 x4 inch cutting mat that I will insert into my bra to prevent those moments of Unpleasantness. LOL My biggest fear about this is that I will have to go to the store or something and it will still be in there. LOL

I know how you feel. I can't wrestle a large quilt either. I do the quilt as you go and it works wonderful. It breaks it down into managable sections.
I also send out my large quilts to a long arm quilter. It is not worth the struggle.
