I would do just the purple, but a white inner border would look good too.

DINA, your cat seems to be intensely looking at the quilt. What is it's opinion ????[/QUOTE]

Ha! Yes, my quilt inspector, Hot Rod, always has an opinion. His opinion is that every quilt is his!! He carefully watches my progress, and then whenI lay the quilt on the floor for a picture, he hops in the middle of it, claiming it as his.

It's lovely, Dina. I think Hot Rod agrees.

I have to tell you that if I can do it, anyone can. I promise. It is not a quick process, but it is very do-able.

Beautiful quilt. I went through the Bargello albums on the website and I am really drawn to a frame. I like the quilts that use an inner border, then continue the pattern in the next border and then repeat the inner border color as the binding.

I agree with Maniacquilter2 (if I'm remembering the name correctly). On almost every quilt, I like a thin inner border of the light-color fabric and then a wider outer border of a dark-color fabric. To me, this makes the most pleasing frame.

That said, I wouldn't do anything that would distract from the gorgeous Bargello work you've done!!!
