Very often I find something has slid down behind wherever I put it. Especially easy with something flat like a ruler or book. If you haven't tried that yet, give it a shot.

My 12 1/2 sq ruler. Searched for a year. It was under a box of magazines the whole time. Can't remember how many times I moved that box. If only I had lifted that box, I would have found it sooner.

I can relate to every post. I have wasted years (and I am not exaggerating) looking for things My little grandson told me years ago, "Grandma, just think backwards in your mind!" I now have an angel whose assignment is to help me find my lost things!!!!

I'm sure it's hiding out with all of my things that disappear whenever I turn my back!

Look in the fabric stash you are planning on using for the project it is easy to fold fabric with a ruler inside. I have lost so much time looking so I got smart and decided I would always return my rulers where they are supposed to be. NO more lost time.
Hope you find them.
