since it's a book and rulers....it'd flat so make sure you look between your fabric sitting on your sewing table....I do this all the time.

You've probably moved it several times looking for it. I lost the ipod once for a couple weeks. Look absolutely every where it could have been.

I moved a stack of papers that I had checked several times and found it in between a couple envelopes.

So it will show up eventually. It's a like a puppy when you're trying to catch it, when you ignore it, it will come to you...well in this instance you'll stumble on it.

that is so true happy, hunting for the things that get lost in a sewing room, (many times over)

That's why I am redoing my sewing room. 7 cats couldn't find a single mouse in there the way it was.

That's why I seem to have a two of a lot of rulers and my flowerhead pins. Everytime I turn around something disappears (sigh)
