pieced two blocks recently and realized the needle position had moved - no longer centered at 1/4 inch - sure explained why they were slightly bigger than the other blocks I had completed!

This is interesting, I am tring to teach my grand to quilt she is 10 I am reminding her that she is not yet good enough to watch tv while sewing

I usually have the TV on. Just a habit I guess I hardly watch it while I'm sewing unless something perks my interest

i love having the tv or computer on when sewing. i can watch dvds,or netflix or hulu on my computer. unless i'm trying to figure out something new and need silence-it's on. i can catch up on stuff that way and spend more time sewing.

I'm so glad sewmom shared she needs it quiet to fiques out something new. I though I was the only one who did this. I do it too when I'm trying to find a new location driving. I have to turn down the radio and re-read the directions as I approach the destination.

Always soooo good to know we're not alone....
