DON'T STOP!! :)
So, what's the problem? I just got my long arm up and running and wanted to practice on something. I had 2 QFK's and a jelly roll 1600 I had put together. Did all 3 of those yesterday and now don't have anything to practice on. So now I have to make more quilts. Aw shucks, do I HAVE to ?!?!?   You really NEED to have several projects in various stages of completion to keep your brain active. I used to think it should be just one project at a time. How wrong I was :!: :?

I make so much mess, just plotting out a new top that it is impossible for me to be doing more than one at a time...oops, I guess I am, piles on floor for "good to be square", waiting for arrival of more background fabric, and then there is a pile over on the side of the cutting table where I put my crazy quilt squares when I finish one and, oh gee, the house pile for BOM and that is the stuff you can see. Now in my mind, it is really cluttered because there is the log cabin packed away, there is the green box with the red, green and yellow fabric for another top and, and.....well, you know.

Carrie,
I have several WIP's but no UFO's. I need to be stimulated so have things to go to when my current project get boring. Repeat after me:- " I do NOT have UFO's I have WIP's. I'm creative. "

I don't see a problem. I have so many and I just don't worry about it.

Let the project fit your mood--somedays the careful matching of corners and points will meet your need for order in the world, somedays cutting pieces will help you relax, and, even ironing that great new fabric might let you smooth out the wrinkles in your world. I can understand the 'one project at a time' quilters, but I love it all, and my work space shows it. piecefully, the old one
