I did a bad, bad thing....
#13
When I lost my job I had my Viking 835 in lay away at Joanns. A friend gave money as a Christmas gift towards it. When I got my severence pay, I paid most of my bills off but kept money out to pay off my new machine and get it out of lay away. I did feel guilty, but thought, I worked for years and I want to spend a little money on myself. I love my machine and do not regret getting it.Intead of guilt feeling, just think of how many beautiful gifts you will be making on your new machine! Hugs!!!!

As Sharon C said life is too short live and enjoy your new machine. If you have worked your entire life and not had any major purchases for just yourself you deserve it. I plan on buying stuff for myself whether I need it or not, I have to pay for it so I should be able to do what I want with my money. Have my eye on two FW's at the present. If I ever get my sewing room added to the house I plan on buying a long arm. If I had the money right now there was one advertised in Tioga, nD for 1500$. But I don't so couldn't buy it.
