I like your quilt a lot and especially am inspired to now make a quilt in which my goal is to Try New Things. It sure would take off some pressure if I went into expecting to learn, not master, a skill. And to spend one quilt on more than one new skill. Thanks for the inspiration, Julia! I want to learn curved piecing, to do an on-point layout, better applique, and mitered corners. That might be a bit ambitious for one quilt. Depends. I'm not out to ruin my love of quilting with quadruple challenges, so I may scale back to 2-3 new things.
