I just want to share with everyone very nice quilt shop I found this past week. My husband and I went to Ormand beach, Florida for a few days and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect and the beach was beautiful. I actually found this shop on the internet, Byrd's Nest Quilt Shop. Advice on all things quilting free and given freely. I met 2 fine ladies working there. I am now wanting to try the Twister pattern especially after Jan showed me how it is done. I think I can, I think I can. LOL. The fabric they have is just beautiful, and so much more than I am used to. They have everything arranged neatly. For the ladies that want their quilts quilted they have a Gammil and Jan was operating it with great results. Just wanted to share. :):):)

I found the Byrds Nest Quilt Shop, too, when I was in Florida. I agree that it is a great shop. It makes me wish I could go more often...lots of cool fabric & sample projects.

We just had a quilt shop open north of Hernando and south of Ocala. She doesn't even have all of her fabric yet but it is a lovely place. Quilting machine and lovely fabric. She actually has white fabric that isn't sheer!! The name escapes me but it is something like Sew and Sew.
