I love your quilt so far the colors are really pretty, I think that I would try and cut a triangle in black to fill in the corners. I think that maybe you just need to walk away from it for a little while and then figure out what you want to do. I know that you will figure it out and it will be beautiful when you are done. A black,white and red quilt is on my to do list. Post pictures when you are done. HUGS

No matter how I try to wrap my brain around this... I just do not get it. So I thought I would put some blocks together and see if that would make things click in my tiny little brain... nope... I just can't figure out how to use the same kind of blocks to make this work.. so I can either not put it on point.. or I can use solid black in the areas. Right now I think I just need to walk away... before I scream and scare my little fur babies.. lol

It's happened many times. Sometime I will redo offending block, but the worst reaction I have had to date, (thank goodness). Was to through the entire quilt away. How I regret that action. Someone once told me there are no perfect people and certainly, no perfect quilts. Only The Devine is perfect. I now look at my mistakes a little differently, (but, honestly) they still agitate me a little! I'm working on my attitude a little closer now.

Wow, beautiful tops. Excuse my ignorance, but what pattern is this? It looks pretty straight forward and easy to make. I would like to make one. I collect black and red fabrics and this would be a fun quilt to make. Mind sharing the pattern name? Thanks!

When I have done this it has always been too small. You have to add at least 1/2" to allow for the border seam or binding. Otherwise you will lose your points.
