when GRAMMA died in the early '70's, everyone told, to take all her clothed BACK to the 2 GOOD stores, where she purchased them!Had a regular closet full, w/tags on.They would've taken them back & given me cash/ no questions.I did not. I told the relatives she had "USED" them. The hours she spent shopping, had given her much pleasure!I donated them.and I'm sure they brought someone else much pleasur for a whole lot less! ENJOY what you've got, & make a plan for what's left!

If it hadn't been you, some other quilters would have snapped up that bargain. Don't feel guilty, just enjoy.

I had a friend years ago who told me her f-i-l loved counting his money--and died with a pile--never spent, just counted. I said, "What a shame." My friend replied, "NO, a double blessing. He enjoyed counting it and I'm enjoying spending it." Same with your fabric. Owner one enjoyed it now it is your turn. Who knows who comes next?--Who care?
