I went to Hancocks for one or two fabrics to go with the fat quarter bundle I already had. Trouble is I found a lot more that looked good with it. What to do? Well, I bought it all. Then I saw some batiks at $5/yd that I couldn't resist. I bought them "just because."

The pattern is from Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett. It's written primarily for jelly rolls but she also gives instructions for using scraps or yardage. I want to make just about every quilt in the book.

Here they are all stacked up. Aren't they pretty?

The fat quarter bundle is on the right, along with the pattern. On the left are the ones I got today.

The fat quarter bundle was from Tuesday Morning. I actually found one of the same fabrics from the bundle at Hancocks. Most of the ones I got today are M'Liss. The selvedge on the others says Bryant Park designed for Exclusively Quilters.

Half the fun is choosing the fabric; maybe more!

Now you've done it! I promised myself no more fabric buying until Sisters, Ore trip. Now I have to make a run to Hancock's tomorrow after my guild meeting! I love all those fabrics and the pattern as well.

Carron -- what kind of dog is your avatar? Looks like poodle but the white looks a bit like springer spaniel. Gorgeous dog.

Those are all really great fabrics!! I just hate it when that happens and fabrics just reach out and grab me!!! WalMart got me tonight--next thing I knew I some how had 10-1/2 yard cuts of yellow, black, and white fabrics!! My boss is an Iowa Hawkey Fan--it must be his fault!! LOL

I think we all do that, go into a fabric store just to buy one thing and buy more! Your choices are beautiful!!

I love the selection of fabrics to go with the pattern. Those are my colors. Anything green, blue, teal, torquise, cream, oh yeah. Enjoy, be sure and post a picture when you get done with the quilt.
