You certainly did and how generous you were to give away some of your winnings. I’ve seen a lot of your postings of quilts you’ve made and they are works of art

What a wonderful gift! You have some beautiful fabrics there. Very generous of you to give some away, too.

Congratulations, it's more fun to sew with free fabric.

What fun! One of my group members got a call from someone with unwanted fabric recently and it turned out to be an entire car full. Bags have already gone to the Goodwill. Bags will be going to a fabric-using charity I recently found (it's a couple hours away from home but they will take the non-quilting yardage). Today with group we went over a few of the nicer things, tubes of silk and pieces of wool, a hand done baby blanket that maybe wasn't up to real use but worth a repair/new binding and display, things like that and most of them found new homes. Sometimes we go home with more yardage than we bring, other times we get rid of more than we take. It rarely happens we go back with exactly what we brought.

Not much quilting stuff in this batch but some real treasures.

Good deal. I've been the recipient of a few calls like that, but never got anything like you received. I'm wicked happy for you. When we sew for charity or gifts, free fabric is always a blessing.

This kind of jackpot is the best! Now all you have to do is decide what you are going to do with it.

Nice!!! You'll put it to good use too.

What did you decide on those other fabrics?
