I got my Janome 6600P two days ago and love it too.!!!! Haven't done much on it yet but I forgot it had the stop/start button and was surprised how that worked. Thought about the Horizon but couldn't quite part with that much money. The biggest feature the Horizon has that I would of wanted was the deep throat. But the one I have is bigger by almost 3 inches than the one Ihave so I'm happpy happy. Have fun with your new machine along with all others who got new toys.

I am so happy for you and jealous as well. That Horizon is the one I have been drooling over and can't wait to be the proud owner of. Have fun.

I have the 6600P but the Horizon is on my wish list for a new machine (and I won't get rid of my 6600P)!

It is soooo EASY to use !! And OMGosh I cant believe I dont even have to use the peddle for it to sew !!! I am in LOVE !!!!

I'm pretty sure I will be sewing even more now that I have a machine that does soooo much of the work for me !!!!
This will make all my sewing even more pleasurable !!!!!

I want to thank all on here for all the advice !!

Enjoy sewing !!!....cause I know I will now !!! :-)
From one Janome owner to another, congratulations! I've been following your trying to make a decision which way to go. The machine I have is small scale in comparison..a DC2010, I believe I had mentioned a differet model #, anyway, I 'm glad you came to a decision and you're loving your machine. What was the deciding factor in making your choice which way to go?
    Happy new-machine year!!!
