I saw that article!! 68 years is a long time for anything! My kids always loved scouting. Good leaders are so hard to find! I'm thinking about starting a Daisy troupe so my grandkids can join in the fun.

Nana, Congrats on your retirement. Yes, he has about every award and things BSA has given. He is a holder of two Eagles. One from BSA and one from the Phillipines, given to him during the Korean era, for outstanding work with the Boy Scouts there. He did work 3 years professionaly in Tulsa, Ok many years. Has just been give the highest award in the United Methodist Church The Cross and Flame. He has been to 5 Jamborees and 20 times to Philmont. I have done 4 trips to Philmont and loved it, but last we decided we are too old to do the tent and outdoor potty.

The fabric in the kit was pretty and plenty of it. I sent a picture of the quilt to the Quilters World and forgot about it. In this months edition, can you imagine my surprize when there on page 7 was the picture and an article. Hubby has been active in BSA for 68 years and has made a difference in a lot of young mens lives.[/quot
