some from this board have come to my rescue with fabric and things and a friend has given me some squares from sesame street, I spent a day re-cutting them all as they had been torn into squares and all needed triming. the job is now bone and I am now ready to start making a childs quilt it will be a square in a square with bright borders. I will post pictures as soon as I can

today I started to sew all my bits together and they are starting to look good. and the best part is I have enough from the stash that people have donated to me to make the entire quilt. and enough to make a few more. so the first one I make I will donate to a childrens hospital in Perth as my way of thanking all the wonderful people that have helped me.
