Check out the book "Noodle Soup" by Debbie Caffrey she has several books using those strips including one called Worms I think. Any way they are very fun quilts she also has some beautiful mystery quilts as well.

When all else fails and you want something quick, make a strip quilt. If you have enough strips of one color/print, you can use that for the center strip on all your blocks and make a cohesive pattern. If not, scrappy is wonderful. froggyintexas

There are lots o quilt block patterns out there, where you can take 2 1/2" strips and subcut them into other shapes, squares, HST's, rectangles, etc. I would go to quilterscache.com for inspiration.

Strip Twist at Quiltville.com, Summer In the Park at Missouri Star Quilt Company, but Bento Box is my favorite for strips!

I just finished this simple 16 Patch using 2" strips. You could easily use 2.5" strips instead.
