Did anyone order from them recently? I believe they were closing their website, and I ordered some merchandise over a month ago. Still haven't received it and their website is gone. I don't have a bricks and mortar address, so I can't write them a letter.

I have never ordered from them. If I were you, I would either call information or have someone from the board check their phone book. Under "User List" you can search by location. You may get lucky!

Good luck! I hope they ship to you. I ordered labels on February 6th from a different company and just received them last week,so there is hope!

I Googled "Beyond the Needle" and found this information:

2335 Us Route 11
Kirkwood, NY 13795
607-238-7182

If you paid with a credit card, you should file a written claim to your credit card company. (Check any cc bill for your card; how to file claim info will be on it.) It's easy, but you have to get it in the mail by a certain deadline.

Filing cc claim means that the cc will refund you your money for non-receipt of goods and will take care of getting the money back from the store for themselves.

If you paid with PayPal, file a claim online immediately with PayPal. This aso is pretty easy to do; instructions are on the PayPal website. Again, do it sooner rather than later because there is a deadline.

Not receiving goods within a month from a store that has closed down its website is sufficient reason to file a claim now.

Thanks, Prism. Not sure how I missed that in my searching. Luckily, they haven't charged my credit card. I'm thinking they just ran out of inventory before they got my order (or hoping); but I really had planned on the fabric I ordered. We'll just have to wait and see; but I am going to call that phone # on Tuesday. Thanks, ladies. I knew I could count on you.

Before filing a claim, be sure and check to make sure they billed you for the merchandise. An online site, that I once ordered from, never sent me the merchandise and when I checked back on my statement, they had not billed me. It turned out that they were out of the merchandise I ordered and didn't bother to email and let me know.

Beyond the Needle closed both stores suddenly. I thought they were closing at the end of May so maybe you could call them but I don't know if they still have a working number. I'm not sure what happened but it was very sudden.

I live near Beyond the Needle and yes, both store locations are closed. I know the owner of the store to be an honest business person. Please make sure you were billed. She is relocating to another state, but only just closed her stores last Sunday.
