    you can practice on kitten quilts for your local animal shelter. Small enough to finish quick, big enough to practice on, appreciated by the kitties.

    I think a walking foot is just as important to us quilters as the 1/4" foot is.

    I love mine. I finally talked my sister into getting one. She called to tell me she got her binding on without twisting for the first time.
