    Default I just bought a.....

I just bought a Fiskars 14 x14 inch rotating mat & I love it! Now I am asking myself why didn't I buy one years ago? I am currently making a lot of flying geese and it is a big help since it rotates. Amazon had a great price and it came in just a few days.

Good to hear that it was a good/wise purchase for you.

So many of the gadgets I bought over the years were unneeded and have been unused.

How does it lock into place for cutting?

Love mine, too, so handy for precision cutting. I do have to take the turning part off occasionally and clean in between the boards.

It just seems to stay in place until I turn it. Connecting threads sells a 17" one but I knew the 14" would be plenty big for my use.

I have the 14" but have always wanted a bigger one. So, Connecting Threads has a 17" one? Dang! That sounds like I'm going to have to ask my local quilt shop to order me one. I'm banning myself from online shopping and buying only from my local quilt shop. She needs the business. I might have to pay $2 more, but I will do it to save her shop.
