Oh poo on your DH!! Of course you're a quilter!! Once you've finished the first one and moved on to a second, you get to be called a quilter.

Of course you are a quilter. This is just how I felt when I first started and I haven't lost the passion for quilting yet. It's my reason for getting out of bed in the morning. What does he think defines "quilter". His definition is probably just not the same as most of ours.

know people who haven't even done that much and they call themselves "quilter's". when what they really are is simply fabric collector's!

Oh men, they think they know everything. If you aren't a quilter, then what does he say you are? HaHa. My dh is clueless except for the living room and dining room overtaken by fabric. You quilt on, quilter!!! I am not all that far from you, I am in Davidsville, near Somerset, I go to Pittsburgh regularly.

Oh honey, you are a quilter! This thread was good for me to read. I've been quilting for about 9 years now. For the longest time I hesitated to call myself a quilter. I guess I didn't think I had earned that title, or was good enough. But I've been obsessed with quilting since my first class. I may not be a good one, but I am a quilter.
