I took a walk yesterday. In a previously empty storefront I saw bolts of fabric! It looks like a new fabric store is getting ready to open! No name, no opening date. I did some internet searching when I got home, and did find that a "sewing material" store is listed as a new business. No other information was given.

I can walk to this store! Like I said, I might be in trouble.

you're going to be exercising and getting healthy.

you'll walk to the store every day and carry home packages - i think its a health/medical write off on your taxes

just think of it in a postive way....
You'll get some gentle warmup walking exercise in walking there...
On the way home it'll be an aerobic walking workout...

"Thinkgs" get heavier as you carry them...ever carried home a gallon of milk from the store?

    Congrats!

YOu will have to make a special tote to bring all the wonderful fabric you will be able to buy when ever you need something. Have fun shopping once they open up.

Since your profile says you are "in hiding" and you don't mention the location of your walk, we have no idea where this mecca of quilters delight is located.

Buy a nice backpck to carry you fab home. Easier to carry heavy things on back rather than in a bag. See how helpful we are. We just love helping other quilter add to their stash. Oh OH OH...maybe get a job there..part time. Get more fab on sale?

What a fun walk that will be with window shopping, planning and purchasing. And think of the upper body strength you will build carrying all that home each day. That could be the best exercise ever. Now to just stretch that wallet - a one, a two, etc.
I feel for you, just too much temptation.

The wheeled cart idea sounds great. You can put more fabric in them without straining your back. Just a walk away... my, my, my, what a lucky girl.
