After you watch the tutorials, there are a few things to remember. Always use of 14 needle and shorten your stitch length. The size 14 needle makes bigger holes in the paper and its easier to rip out. Always remember that the first piece will be placed on the paper will be front side up and the rest will be front side down. Good luck!

I just checked out the Craftsy.com site and there's a quick strip piecing class they offer that looks like it's just what you need. It's on sale for 19.99. I've taken a few Craftsy classes and absolutely love them. You can keep watching over and over again, ask questions, rewind parts that you didn't quite get the first time. I definitely recommend it.

I know I can do the paper piecing it's the preperation of the pattern pieces that has me going nuts.I have to make copies of the blocks , then I have to cut the arc pieces apart, then glue them on another piece of paper and add 1/4 , then make more copies. Then I can start working on the quilt!! Not really what I would call complete pattern pieces. Im very frustrated with this so called pattern.

It says on the pattern that I have to add 1/4 inch seam allowance to all pattern pieces, not easy to do on the curves. The pattern was $21.00 plus $10.00 shipping. You would think more of the patterns would have been done. I have tons of prep to just start the paper piecing!
