I made the stupidest mistake and cut a pattern strip piece 4" instead of 3" and I need that inch for the next strip!!! Is there a way to bond the inch piece nice and tight to the fabric to be able to cut another 3 " piece?? I was always measuring twice, but then picked up another ruler and goofed. Sometimes I can be such a ditz!!!
:( :(

I don't think you would be happy trying to bond fabric together this way... it would probably unravel and not look very nice...

I take it you don't have enough fabric to cut the rest to make up for it? If not, and your heart is set on this fabric you may have to bite the bullet and get more.

If you can't find any? You can try posting a picture of it here in the Classified section, and see a member has some and would be willing to sell it. :D:D:D

There are no mistakes, just design opportunities! You just have to look at the quilt or blocks and figure out a way to change it or incorperate a new fabric. Just my opinion.

Can you use a piece of fabric to sew the two together? As maine ladybug said, it may be a new design opportunity.
