These are all so funny. I'm from the Northeast and love to wear fleece tops in the winter. I've been guilty of running out quickly to get thread or whatever while working on a project, only to find that I'm wearing thread and fabric bits. ha ha. I guess we can say we are wearing fabric art. I make a total mess when I scrapbook and cook too. But I have to clean it up when I'm done for the day/meal. I hate seeing the mess.

Made me laugh. This is so me. I am always dragging threads to the store with me too. I've even found them on my dh after he has left the house.

How about threads clinging to clean laundry when you take it out of the dryer?

LOL the ever perpetual cleaning/sewing dilemma; I think we all are guilty of it .. DH suggested I get a vacuum and put it by the door and used it before every time I enter the house LOL (my sewing room is behind my garage.. LOL)

I have the same problem, thread pieces all over, was at a funeral the other day...and a lady asked if she could get a piece of thread off my jacket...I don't even get embarrased any more..just thankful that people ask before they "pick" at me..have a wonderful day...

I think some one had a camera at my house! That was a description of me, but not as embarrassing as going to the post office with bird poo downyorback from the parrot being on your shoulder!

How about getting to work and finding you have threads on your blouse.

I know what that looks like ..now if we could only train the cloud to blow all threads and scraps in one spot!

When you think of quilting remember "A creative mess is better than tidy idleness" but when the oven is so messy you can bake only one cupcake at a time it's too much. Most of us are the best thread catchers anyway.
