JoAnn's will let you use multiple coupons as long as the scu (sp?) numbers are different.

You should be able to use multiple coupons as long as they have different barcodes on them. I often use 3-4 at a time as I get different coupons from email, newspaper, store and snail mail. I would ask for a supervisor if you are denied again.

I also use several coupons at the same time as long as the bar codes are different. And I use my 10% VIP card. I don't have any problem with the clerks.

I didn't know you could use more than one coupone and yr discount card too? Well I may have learned something new. Although, I am sure I have been told before I can use one or the other but not both, but that may have been at Hancock's and just assumed it was the same at both. Will have to make sure and ask each time at both places.

Check them out. Very worthwhile investment. For the small annual fee, you get that back plus much more just from the 10% card at Joanns. Membership gives you discounts at lots of retailers.

This reminds me of the Extreme Couponing shows I just saw yest. while sewing. These people went shopping for $800 & walked out without paying a cent. Some stores offered doubling the coupon amt. etc. It was really weird. I have a hard time remembering to even take one coupon to the store with me.

Saturday I spent $43 and saved $40 and it would have been better, the cashier failed to ring up my batting till I said something about them. She asked if we wanted them in bags and then failed to ring them up at all! Used 40% 2x and 20% off total order regular/sale.

I have had the worst luck w/coupons and Joanns. I have signed up mulitple times to get them and will be lucky to get one. I called and complained last month and they were supposed to resign me up and send me more coupons. Got one salespaper. I tried to set up my cell phone (I have a blackberry) and nothing seems to work. I know others have no problem. I go to Hancocks mostly due to this problem with them

Glad to know about QCA. Used to belong to ASG(American Sewing Guild), got a 10% from JoAnn and Hancocks with the ASG membership. Buying what I did over a years' time, I had paid myself back what the membership cost.
Will definitely look into QCA. Chris
