I think that's an interesting idea for using up scraps...do the same block, but in different fabric. I'm gonna put that on my list of things to do.

When my sister and I lived in two different states, we had a block of the month one year. I made sure that the deep green was in each block. We had a blast.

Hi there, take a look at youtube with nancy ziemann I watched this segment a few days ago not sure of the complete name she had a guest doing scrappy quilts and it was fun and I like how the guest was doing her technique.

Oh....those are some "widdle"pieces! I love the finished product though. It looks like POTC=Lucy Boston. I may get up the courage to try this pattern. Thanks!

Thanks so much everyone. One of these days I am going to get that thing quilted. It's kind of tough, because the cats all want to sit in my lap.
