I bought mine second hand in the early nineties for @$500. New they were worth between $1000 to $1,200.

I wonder if the sewing machine sews as fast as a serger?

I've never seen one of these but I do have an All-In-One Singer Futura SES 2000 that sews, embroiders, serger, photo stitches, auto-punch, and cross-stitches.

I'm calling my LQS today to find out more. What a wonderful looking machine. I use both my regular sewing machine and serger so much it's hard to decide which one to carry to retreats so I bring both. I WANT ONE TOO!!!!!

I would say that since they are not readily available new to purchase now, they found that there really wasn't a good market for them. I was not impressed when we sold them and like I said, I don't think we ever sold one the whole time we had one in the store on display.
