Too funny. However it is so nice that you and your spouse share this interest. Lucky you!!!

Too funny!

What is "bedfast"? I am unfamiliar with that term. Is it the same as bedridden?

My DH is not a quilter, but he and my 2 children all feel that what Mom has, anyone has access to and therefore they can do whatever with it. Too bad about that binding, but he really should have asked first. Best that you were able to laugh about it.

Well, at least he didn't decide he just had to have one of the logs in the middle of your logcabin ... kinda like the Fons & Porter "George" commercial LOL!

Who ever said God doesn't have a sense of humor! I broke my ankle at church one year while setting up for the Bishop's reception.

I'm a little green with envy that your DH shares your passion for fabric. Mine just thinks I'm nuts! LOL

Hmmm - yep - currently I have pliers and a chisel in my sewing room (the pliers because the feed dogs knob is frozen on my 830 - so I can lower them by hand, but need the pliers to turn it to raise them again... need to take the machine in for service (I bought it used last fall and haven't had a chance to get it fixed yet)) and the chisel to pound nails into the wall as all 4 of our hammers are AWOL.

At least the missing strip will be loved and used.

Cheers, K

How nice that your DH quilts too. Don't leave binding strips around unless they are ironed in half!!! My DH doesn't know one end of a needle from another. He does have a pretty good eye when I ask him to look at what I am making.

lol. And here I was waiting to read that your cat ran off with the binding strip!!

Well, this way you will find a better solution for your binding.
