That was not the way my mind was taking me when I was reading. I was expecting some small child or one of the 4 legged kind to have contributed to the disappearance. Gotta love the DH though. Both reactions are appropriate.

That's both hilarious and frustrating. Glad you finished by laughing!

I love it! I will trade yours for mine! Just kidding LOL My husband to this day doesn't understand cutting up fabric into little pieces then sewing it back together again. But he does have a quilt I made for him, that won an award at a museum show in Little Rock that is of him and my grandson playing football in the backyard that he wouldn't take anything for. That one he understood. Go figure. I guess they can't figure us out and we can't them. I would gladly share my fabric if he quilted that seems like it would be a dream to have a husband that quilted.

Yes, it is. A more regionally used term, as is bedbound. If you think about the literal meaning of all the words, they don't seem to make sense, do they! The charm and difficulty of language is unending.

LOL, I'd scream and laugh too, just not sure in which order. He sounds too wonderful to get mad at though... takes care of his mother AND quilts? He's a keeper for sure.
