Yes it is! The way I look at it is everyone has to have something to do and ours just involves fabric and thread and scissors and patterns and rotary cutters and cutting mats and sewing machines and........LOL!! Welcome to the group!

Since my daughter is at MDO today, I tried to organize my sewing area a little better. It is not great but I have a small area but at least it looks better. After my snack break, I plan to organize my patterns. I have a big binder with all of them in page protectors. Need to finish putting them in there. I also moved all my UFO to one spot. I have a nice pile of squares for hubby's quilt. It is almost ready to start...once he gives me some DCUs to cut up. lol

Since you have UFO's won't you (or anyone else who wants to) join us for the UFO Challenge.

No real sign up, just join the discussion, start finishing your UFOs, & posting pictures.

Thanks for reminding me. I had looked at the post a few weeks ago and forgot about it. Since the backing for the Jelly Roll Race quilt is coming in tomorrow, I might get to finish the quilt top I did last month.

You can do a jelly roll race quilt in a day or at least the top. I did mine in 2 days because my back was hurting so bad from setting at the sewing machine so long. Yes I'm an addict too. I just totaled up my fabric and Long Arm quilting projects for 2011. I sure hope my hubby doesn't see the total. If I had drank that much in liquor or spent that much at the casino, he would have divorced me for sure.

There are no "mistakes", only "creative challenges".
