I have has good experience with Massdrop. It does take a while to get the item, but the savings are great. They had EQ7 for a really great price recently. I bought needles from them recently

I started out with duct tape but hated the hassle when changing the bobbin so I switched to a pad of post-it-notes. The rubber band holding the post-it-notes finally broke so I switched back to duct tape. It's a pain to change the bobbin, but it's what works for me at the moment.

I was just checking this out. I thought spendy and with my machine I would have to remove it to replace bobbins. My 1/4" foot works great with the machine's 1/4" stitching button that moves the needle to the right spot.

I have tried this and did Not like it. In order to use it I had to get a sewing table as my machine bed is curved. Aside from the sticky not sticking, it was cumbersome. If I need to use a guide, I cut a small strip of mole skin (a lot cheaper and easier to acquire), measure my quarter inch and stick it down. It is removable, but you have to work at it which great 'cause you can't move it by mistake - and you can reposision it if you wish.

I've done MassDrop a few times and was satisfied with what I was receiving (Aurifil Thread) big spool kits. The shipping took forever.

Problem with this seam guide, is its the sticky type and invariably, the sticky fails. I have a Bernina and use foot 95. It's a 1/4" foot that comes with a seam guide that screws into the machine bed. I can flip it out of the way when sewing half square triangles, etc. If you don't have a Bernina, Thera magnetic ones. I'm really loving the idea of using Command Strips.
