    Default Ideas for Border

I'm getting close to the end of quilting this UFO and need suggestions for the border.

I was hoping to do feathers, but now that I've pulled it out, I remember that I added that white strip in the border so I'm not sure feathers would look good spread across the three areas. The inner blue border is wider than the outer blue border.

    Ideas?

    Watson

How about a rope twist in the white?
Or more of your circles that you have done in the main part of the quilt?

Perhaps stars on the blue star batik?

My biggest dilemma is always what to do ....
.... and why I have a Christmas quilt sitting, basted but not quilted!
I can figure out part of it .... but the rest alludes me.
And I don't want to start til I have it all figured out, as I have done that before and regretted it.

Circles for the center white and half feathers on the blue strips seems the answer to me Watson.

Maybe ribbon candy down the white section and meandering feathers in the blue borders? Going to be pretty whatever you decide.

Why not consider all as one piece and then quilt your feathers or other pattern. I have done this in the past and was happy with the results.

I did a border with feathers and made wide areas within the feathers and put circles in those.

I'm picturing stars in the blue and straight line channels down the white .
