Default Ideas please!

I am trying to get my Christmas list together. Looking for new quilting gadgets under $50. What have you tried or want to try?

A big thread rack.
A basket of notions like new pins, rotary blades, etc.
A new accuquilt go die.
A small turntable cutting board.
A nice wool queen size batting.
A basic Creative Grids ruler or set of smaller rulers.
A set of good thread in basic neutral colors.
A table runner or placemat set kit.
A couple of good technique or pattern books.
An Ott light.

Need more? I could do this all day long.

I could keep going.

A rotating cutting mat--the larger one so that you can square up 12 1/2 inch blocks.
A desk top Ott light.
GC's--absolutely!!

Oh, wait, these have already been suggested. Guess great minds think alike!

If your getting gadgets for quilters, I would look into making them something special such as a pincushion that you could make using their fabric fabrics.
