My grandmother, God rest her soul. I never realized how talented she was until long after she was gone.

Jo Morton - love her color palette, her designs, small quilts, and the ways she looks to make things easier, faster, and more precise!

I have also made a list of the quilters others have mentioned in this thread that I do not know. I will have fun researching them and "meeting" new quilters!

I would like to have one day to spend with my Grandmother or with my DH's great aunt, both of whom taught me so much about quilting.

Karen McTavish. I'd love to just stand and watch her quilt.

Oh my, you made me think about my dear guild friends that I had many years ago. It would be Janice Richardson and Joen Wolfrom, who were the founders of that guild and so talented and published and wonderful to newbies like me.

If I had to spend one day with a quilter it would be Sue Nickels. I have taken her machine quilting and machine appliqué classes every time I get a chance. After every class I come home with inspiration and confidence that I can do it! She has the patience of a saint.

Karen McTavish all the way! I've taken 3 classes from her and she is just an awesome person.

Bonnie Hunter is great too - she was at my Florida guild last June!

As for Charisma, I am lucky enough to live near enough to her to spend the day with her easily
