My personal choice would be to go for the yardage. You have more choices on what to do with it than with fat quarters.

My sister gave me a large fat qtr pack for a gift and I used it all in the same quilt and made it scrappy. Really love the way it turned out. Only had to buy border fab. to tie it all together.

If you pick the 8 yards, you can choose 2 yards of the same fabric as one of the 8. Then you have 7 different one-yard pieces, plus 3 yards of a single design, which would work for the backing/background.

Larger yardage. Sorry, I'm not a fan of fat quarters. Seems I like I never have enough to complete a project with them. Just a personal preference.

I would prefer the yardage, too. I'm not a fan of fat quarters either.

My first inclination was, go for the fq's. Then the more I thought about it, I thought 8 is enough, so go for the yardage. So, I would go for the yardage also. Especially if I loved the line.

Sometimes I find that I use up Fat quarters too quickly. Are there any 1/2 cuts??? At least with the Fat quarters, you have more selection of a variety of prints. HAVE FUN !!

I would go with the 8 one yard pieces.

I like both, but I think in this case I would go for the fat quarters. When you look them over, you can see which ones you like the best and get some yardage later on.
