Wow! I checked the rest of the fabric from that seller and was shocked! I should dig to the bottom of my stash were the material I inherited 30 years ago from my grandmother (she was 92 then!) and see if I have anything that valuable. HaHa

The thing is, if you take out that hem, there is going to be an unremovable line where the fold was, and there are going to be 2 lines of stitching holes where the hem was. And that is going to become useless yardage. I can go buy reproduction vintage fabric better looking than that and for $100 I can get 10 yards.

Oh my! Went through the rest of the sewing supplies in her shop and she has some fabric that is listed for $1,000!! It's only 5 yards. For a $1,000 I'd be expecting an entire truckload! Although, it is generously discounted currently to $880 :lol:
