Fabric stash, sewing machine--treadle or hand crank, cutting mat, rotary cutter with blades, thread stash, rulers. Since it's a tropical island I think I could skip the batting or just use extra layers of fabric in it's place

The blades you mentioned are wonderful. Have been using them for the last month.

I only need three, scissors, rotary cutter, rotary cutter blades, all can be used as weapons and cutting tools not to mention reflection off the rotary cutter replacement blade = Fire. I'm set. Oh and the latest issue of McCall's Quilting

Sunbonnet quilt I've been working on for more years than I care to admit. Scissors, needle threader, thread, hoop, batting and backing.

Forgot to mention my sewing machine, it can double as a noise distributor to scare all the animals away. Honestly the loudest sewing machine on the planet but I love it.

Please clarify. Is this question about bringing 7 quilting notions used for surviving or 7 things I could not live without?

That's a tough question, I'd have to think more about it!

I would bring stuff useful for surviving, not sewing.
