i use a small travel iron and a table top ironing board next to my machine when doing applique- and also when peicing blocks with many many pieces-like logcabin blocks.
you know- it's your iron- use it for what ever you want- no quilt police to tell you you can not use YOUR iron-
my sister only owns a little travel iron- says she has no need for a larger one.

I had not even thought about quilt police. I just wanted to know if others out there used them and if they liked them..tell me are there places where some quilters are frowned upon for using a travel iron?
