    Your original post had me thinking. The P Barn quilts that caught my eyes were squares or rectangles of large size
    and seams were not in straight line so you didn't have to worry about seams / corners meeting. Can appreciate the
    pattern of the fabric with these simple designs. Maybe I could use up fat quarters with this idea as many friends
    call this a "modern style " quilt which is what they want .

    That quilt is similar to one I saw in a Christmas catalog a few years ago, had a stripped fabric for the back. I loved it, saved the page to try to copy & gradually found similar fabrics. I made the quilt & it is one of my favorites, so simple yet has a warm character.
